Hotels.com. The best price at the best rate is their slogan. Guaranteed. They are the Internet's largest source of discount accommodations worldwide. They offer savings of up to 70% off regular hotel rates in some of the world's most popular and expensive cities. We drop you off at their Destinations and Interests page because it has a worldwide perspective. Their home page is oriented to the United States.

Hotel Discounts.com. One of the largest and best hotel reservation discounters on the web. They negotiate with hotels and buys blocks of rooms on certain dates which they offer to you at 20-40% off the hotel corporate rate.

Lodging Consolidators. This is Google's lodging consolidator section of their Lodging Directory with a great list of links to websites that offer discount hotel prices.

Quikbook. Another hotel consolidator with extensive worldwide listings.

Other Hotel/Motel Reservation Websites

PlacestoStay.com This is one of the largest lodging, online reservation sites. They cover worldwide resorts, hotels, motels, inns, and B&B's. They usually have one or more photographs of the property plus the usual property details (e.g., room rates, services offered, etc.) They have excellent coverage of countries that are not main-stream tourist destinations. You can book directly with them.

CybercityGuides.com They have hotel listings for selected cities of the world.

Escapes - Accommodations They have the most extensive list of hotels, from budget to 5-star hotels and other accommodations for Australia that we have found on the web. Includes on-line hotel reservations.

FastNet Travel. The largest Internet hotel information, reservation and booking service with 28,00 listings in 163 countries. They have an easy to use map and navigation design.

Fodor's Hotel Finder. They offer useful tips on selecting a hotel, and links to major hotel chains, Bed and Breakfast's and unique hotels.

Hotelbook.com. They bill themselves as The Official Site of Independent Hotels�. A beautiful website covering independent hotels worldwide. They also have a hotel blog and podcast.

HotelsTravel.com. This site has over 75,000 links to a worldwide selection of hotels, resorts and B&B's. They list hotels by country and city. They also have good links to tourist information about the country and cities.
