Here are some sites that have comprehensive links to
government tourist offices, bureaus, boards and organizations throughout the world. They
also have links to tourist bureaus of the states in the United States and for Canadian
provinces. Not all lists are identical and some sites are more up
to date than others.

National Geographic Traveler - TripMarks. When you use their
TripMarks directory from the panel on the left of this page, you first
select a region of the world and then a country --- Once you are on the
country page, the first set of websites listed will be official government
tourist websites followed by other websites with good information for the
country.

Tourism Offices Worldwide Directory This site lists most
of the government tourism offices in the world and in all the states of the United States
with links to them. This site only lists official government tourist offices.

Worldwide Tourist Offices Rick has done an outstanding job of
assembling this list and associated links. There are 150 countries and all the states in
the United States and the provinces of Canada listed. Click on the United States of
America to go to the state list and Canada to go to the province list associated with the
country. Not all sites are official government tourist organizations. His "How
to Use" article gives tips on reaching a tourist bureau and asking questions.
