What
can we say or do about the weather? More than you think! Yes, there are companies that will sell you weather event insurance so if your big event like an outdoor wedding is rained out, they will reimburse your expenses. Most travel insurance policies don't cover trip cancellation due to weather, but some due. And there is also a company that will forecast the weather up to a year in advance at a location in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean for a fee. You be the judge if it is really worth it. Of course, if you are a business, just type in "weather insurance" in any search engine and you will get many companies that will insure your event. Our hat is off to MSN Weather. We think they have the best weather information layout and their weather forecast map shows the country in a larger view than most sites. Their weather condition symbology is easy to read and uncluttered. It is just a beautiful, well-done site. |
