Pitcairn Islands | ||
Notes: There are four islands in the group which are officially known as the Pitcairn Islands. The main island is called Pitcairn Island and the only one that is inhabited. It is a British dependency. There are about 40 people left on the island. It is too isolated for young people who have moved to Australia and New Zealand to live. |

| We love the Lonely Planet web site. They offer practical, down-to-earth, travel advice just like their wonderful travel guides and phrasebooks. They also have links to other sites with information about a place. Clicking "Go To Place" will take you to their page for this place. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
