What is Special about
the Travel Science Site?
We have seen from experience that
people who travel to other countries and are able to speak a few words and
phrases of the local language to show kindness and friendship will make that
experience even more enjoyable. Sure English is spoken in almost every
tourist destination on the planet and is the most widely used second
language according to some resources. But it shows a special kindness
to be able to say at least please and thank you in someone else's language.
We give you some tips on how to make up your own list of a dozens
expressions and write down phonetics that you will easily be able to
understand and use.
There are millions of travel sites on the web for Americans. We are the only one we know of
that gives American travelers and tourists easy access to language resources
so they can speak a little of another language. We cross link all our
place and city pages to our language pages for languages spoken there. Our language pages, whenever possible, have links to
websites that have free on-line language lessons. We also link to other
websites with both free and commercial language products and services for
specific languages. We almost always drop you off right at the page on
another website that has the information you need.
Our travel information covers all the essential information in a convenient
format using special toolbars, as well as, normal descriptive text and
direct links to other websites.
