There are millions of travel sites to chose from on the web although only a
handful are visited by the majority of Americans. We don't have
any desire to compete with them for detailed travel information. Our niche
is to give you a brief description and links to a selection of popular and
other interesting travel sites that have good information on a city, country
or region of the world and where, in some cases, you can book all or part of
your trip or tour.
We are also the only website we have found that cross-links our city and
country information with a language page for each of the major language(s)
spoken there. Our language pages are designed to get you to free and
commercial websites where you can learn a little or as much of the language
as you want. All the major language pages have links to free
translation dictionaries and other automatic translation tools you can use
to translate between English and another language.
We also have a good Travel Library stocked with over 250 travel topics and a
Language Library covering various language topics.

have pages for the main town or village on an island or for a
territory you might be visiting. |

Languages |
Here you can select a language you are interested in using the
first letter of the language name. We have over 350
languages to choose from. You can also get to a language
from any of our City and Place pages as they list the major
languages associated with that location. |

have a separate Destination page for each continent, major ocean
and major regions of the world. Here you will find links
to website with good travel and tourist information, as well as,
general background information. |
