Do you want to visit or take a cruise on a famous lake of the world?
Here are some wonderful sites that have information on famous and notable lakes of the world. If
the site does not have tourist information on visiting the lake, go to
our country page where the lake is located and click on one of our travel guide
links. Or do a search of the web using the name of
the lake and the country name.
To find a lake cruise for a specific lake, search with the lake name
and the word cruises (e.g., Lake Geneva Cruises). To find
cruises on lakes in a country, search by country name + Lake Cruises (e.g.,
Switzerland Lake Cruises). Note that some lakes may be so remote that there
are no regular ferry or sightseeing cruises for the lake. In this case
search using the lake name and words like tourist and
sightseeing.
