Pet Travel
|
Here
are some good links to sites with information on traveling with your pet.
The General Section websites cover travel by car, air and boat, entering and
leaving the United States with a pet and other pet travel information.
The Traveling with Pets by air, car, train, bus and ship sections cover
websites with information by the mode of transportation. We also have a
section on Pets and Hotels and shipping pets.
Many travel agencies and
travel guides also cover traveling with pets. Most online Pet Stores
have a section on traveling with, or shipping, pets. And, of course,
the specific transportation company you are using (e.g., American Airlines,
Princess Cruises, will have information on taking your pet along on their websites.) If you are traveling to another country with a pet, check
both your county's rules for taking a pet out of the country and bringing it
back in, as well as, the rules for the countries you are visiting.
