people traveling abroad from the UK.

IAMAT.
This is the International Association for Medical Assistance To Travelers
(IAMAT) site. It has an English and French version. This non-profit membership
organization was founded in 1960. It has been a world leader in advising travelers of health risks, locations
of diseases, immunization requirements, sanitary conditions and
environmental and climatic conditions around the world. Membership is free for individuals although
a donation is appreciated. They also have company memberships. membership
includes some excellent publications.
IAMAT also maintains a network of
physicians - general practitioners and specialists, hospitals and clinics
worldwide who have agreed to treat travelers in need of medical
care.
